does Crystal Ball offer all of its products on one system?
Yes, and they can all be viewed on one system. Crystal Ball is unique in offering mobile handset, vehicle, and asset tracking, including Lone Worker Protection, all on one platform. For more information please contact us.
can I view my vehicles anywhere at any time?
Yes, as long as you are connected to the internet. It is worth noting that the faster the connection speed, the faster Crystal Ball software will run. So, for example, broadband will be much faster than a dial-up connection.
is Crystal Ball affected by coverage issues?
No. In the event of loss of mobile data coverage the tracking devices store location data on board. Once coverage is resumed the data is uploaded, meaning that no information is lost.
does Crystal Ball offer real time tracking?
Yes. Crystal Ball uses time, distance and directional change to record all activity which are updated in real time onto the live system.
will I receive free system upgrades?
Yes, and because Crystal Ball is web-based you don’t have to worry about CDs and installing upgrades. They appear when you login. Firmware updates to the Merlin 700 tracking device are also free, and are upgraded automatically seamlessly over the air.
are there any hidden charges with Crystal Ball?
No, there are no hidden charges. All Crystal Ball services include mapping, communication, and system charges.
what are the minimum pc requirements to run Crystal Ball?
Crystal Ball is a web based tracking system that requires an internet connection and basic PC.

- At least 256 Mb of RAM
An Internet connection. Broadband is recommended but dial-up should still work.

how long does Crystal Ball store my data?
All customers have immediate access to 90 days historical information which can be downloaded and saved at anytime. Data required outside this time period is held by Crystal Ball and can be requested. Admin charges will apply.
what warranty is available on the Crystal Ball tracking system?
For lease and rental (freedom) customers for out the term. Purchase customers receive a 12 month warranty from the date of installation.
