Crystal Ball has been chosen to supply major aerospace provider, ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, with on board live web based tracking systems for its logistics operations.
Steve Potter, Transport Manager, comments "We looked at a number of different tracking systems before making the decision to choose the Crystal Ball solution. The costs were pretty comparable with other systems, but the Crystal Ball system has something more about it. It has a real edge. It's the easiest system to use by far, and the functionality has really been thought through." He adds, "We expect to make notable savings on fuel and we'll be looking at reducing our insurance premiums since deciding to install tracking. But it's more than just the savings; our main reasons for initially employing tracking are the traceability issues, monitoring deliveries and the security factors. This really is going to see our levels of customer service go to a much higher level."
